We are excited to partner with Eve Palguta and Two Faced Ceramics to offer a bonsai workshop at the Two Faced Ceramics Gallery in West Hollywood. This workshop includes your very own bonsai tree (you make yourself) to take home, along with complimentary wine to enjoy throughout the experience.
Led by Daniel Deephouse, an expert with over 40 years of experience in bonsai across three continents, this beginner-friendly class will teach you the fundamentals of this ancient art form. Daniel’s unique approach encourages you to stay present and connect with your tree, making bonsai a relaxing and meditative practice.
Whether you're new to bonsai or have some experience, this hands-on workshop will guide you through styling your own tree, from potting and pruning to wiring and shaping. Enjoy the process while sipping on wine in the beautiful and serene Two Faced Ceramics Studio as Daniel shares his personal journey and tips, making this class a perfect way to unwind, learn, and grow. Spaces are limited—reserve your spot today and discover the beauty of bonsai!
About the Venue: Two Faced Gallery creates visual harmony by merging repetition and balance with asymmetry and irregularity. These amorphous forms draw inspiration from a wide array of sources, such as the human body, insects, natural formations, and architecture. 2FC is committed to well-crafted, green-conscious, handmade goods.
Founder Eve Palguta is a classically-trained artist informed by tradition and inspired by the
present. Eve received her Masters in Painting, with a concentration in sculpture, from the New York Academy of Art. Educated as a draftsman, oil painter, and figurative sculptor, she has spent years working in different mediums creating representational and abstract work.
